Description of problem: Enabling "Synchronize contents of clipboard and selection" in KDE Clipboard Manager disables copy-paste in Firefox and Chrome. More specifically, copy-paste into already occupied textfield doesn't work. It doesn't replace selected text. Pasting into free field does work. I suspect clipboard manager somehow copies selected text as latest entry in stack. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): KDE Plasma 5.7.5 KDE Frameworks: 5.26.0 Qt: 5.6.1 Firefox: 49.0 Google Chrome: 54.0.2840.59 How reproducible: Always. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enable "Synchronize contents of clipboard and selection" 2. Try pasting from any place even within browser into text field by painting it first for replacement Actual results: Field value remains same. Expected results: Field value replaced by copied value.
