Description of problem: projectors plugged into the external display port (VGA) are no longer recognized on my laptop (Lenovo thinkpad T440s) under a 4.7 kernel. If I book into the last 4.6 kernel on the machine, the display is detected without problems. This appears to work again with kernel 4.8.8-200 on Fedora 24
