Created attachment 1215400 [details] example screenshot Description of problem: Libreoffice is unusable on my new fedora 25-beta1.1 install. The ui elements are very large with text layout issues, and the main window is about twice as wide as the physical screen, but with drawing clipped to about 1/2 the width of the physical screen. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): libreoffice 5.2.3.2-1.fc25 How reproducible: Always. I thought it might be related to stable gconf setting from an account data restore, but it occurs with a new user account too. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launch libreoffice 2. Observe screen. 3. Actual results: See screenshot. Expected results: Normal interface is available. Additional info: This is a Lenovo X1 Carbon 3rd generation with a high-dpi screen. It looks like there's some confusion with the screen scaling and/or Wayland, but running from the command line with `GDK_SCALE=1` didn't affect the behaviour.
Having the same issue here. This is on top of the UI scale already being broken on Fedora 24 - but at least then I had the whole document to work with, now I only get a quarter of it.
Might this be related to this bug: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=99508
Sorry, not to spam the list, but, from the bug above: This works (in that libreoffice renders correctly): env SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gtk libreoffice --writer and this does not: env GDK_DPI_SCALE=0.5 libreoffice --writer
I'm going to file this under generic "bad hidpi" for now. There is some changes upstream in the last few days around hidpi toolbox image scaling that might help. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 1370051 ***
