It looks like 4.9 kernels are breaking sins of a solar empire running under wine. I have two laptops using f25 and rawhide nodebug kernels. One is a macbook air the other a dell using i915 graphics. When I stat the game under a 4.9 kernel I get a black screen and nothing further happens until I hit the power button. This logs me out of the desktop, but I can recover without rebooting. When trying downgrading packages, I found a using a 4.8.4 kernel gets things working normally again. I don't know if this is a graphics issue or if the process is hanging for some reason. At least one other game (heroes of might and magic 3) works normally using wine.
I doubt there is much you guys can do for this, but I'll close this if up to date kernels start working for this again.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Gog version of sins of a solar empire using wine.
2. Start the game.
3.
Actual Results:
The screen goes black and then nothing further happens without hitting the power button.

Expected Results:
A splash screen should show up after a few seconds.

This appears to have been fixed with rc5. I also haven't seen a glitch in graphics with the game colossus since rc5 either.
