Description Byron Gravenorst 2016-10-30 23:34:48 UTC
Based on feedback in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1380896 we should consider unifying the two topics.

A separate bug (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1390028) has been raised to implement the other suggested comments.

Hi Byron,

I reviewed the updated docs now and to me it seems reasonable to keep the instructions separately.

However, there is one part that needs to be fixed. Can we use this bug to track this fix?

The problem is that currently both section, for RHEL and RHEVH hosts, at their end recommend how to upgrade both RHEL and RHEVH hosts. Shouldn't this be split each to its own section?

See, for RHEL:
"Before updating the Red Hat Enterprise Linux hosts in the environment, disable the version 3.6 repositories and enable the required 4.0 repository by running the following commands on the host you wish to update. "

For RHEVH:
"RHEV-H hosts must be reinstalled with RHVH 4.0. See Red Hat Virtualization Hosts in the Installation Guide. "

Hi Marina,

Yes, your suggestion makes more sense.

I'll update the Summary accordingly.
