Look at the left bottom corner and you can see that the tab graphical labels are missing in the fedora version.
This appears to be a bug in the theme GNOME uses for qt4 applications. To work around this, you can install the qt-config package and run qtconfig-qt4 and choose a different qt theme. I think the appropriate component to file this bug is in adwaita-qt4. I suggest you move this bug there.
