Description Roger Heslop 2016-11-09 20:48:52 UTC
Description of problem:

ServiceNetMap information wrong at URL:
https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en/red-hat-openstack-platform/9/single/director-installation-and-usage/#sect-Assigning_OpenStack_Services_to_Isolated_Networks

This causes delays during installation while troubleshooting failed deploys

See -> https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1357504

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): OSP 9.0

Steps to Reproduce:
1. How reproducible: Copy information from URL

(https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en/red-hat-openstack-platform/9/single/director-installation-and-usage/#sect-Assigning_OpenStack_Services_to_Isolated_Networks)

into network-environment.yaml.

2. Use this as environemnt file during overcloud deploy.

Actual results:

Overcloud deploy fails with ControllerOvercloudServicesDeployment_Step4

Expected results:

Overcloud deploy finishes successfully.

Additional info:

Information appears correct in Red_Hat_OpenStack_Platform-9-Director_Installation_and_Usage-en-US, however incorrect information from aforementioned URL may exist in other places.

Going through my backlog and saw this bug. The ServiceNetMap example now seems to have all OSP9 services included. Have also checked OSP10+ for their respective ServiceNetMap parameters.

Roger, sorry about the delay on answering this BZ. How does it look now?

Comment 2 Roger Heslop 2017-09-26 14:37:22 UTC
Comparing the examples I gave originally they appear identical now - I honestly forgot about this one myself. - Thanks.

Thanks, Roger!
