on editing a VM, it discards xmlns:qemu of the `domain` tag and the whole <qemu:commandline>

Thanks for the report, but I can't reproduce, seems to work fine here with virt-manager 1.4.0. What version are you using? Also please provide:

- 
- the xml before the edit
- virt-manager --debug output when performing the edit
- the xml after the edit
