Description of problem: GDM has lost the functionality to register its display name with DBus since 3.14 How reproducible: gdbus call --system --dest org.gnome.DisplayManager --object-path /org/gnome/DisplayManager/Displays/<your-display-number-here> --method org.gnome.DisplayManager.Display.GetX11DisplayName Actual results: '[Invalid UTF-8]' Expected results: ':1' (or potentially a higher number) Additional info: This is a known gdm bug that has since been fixed: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=752341
This message is a reminder that Fedora 23 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 23. Fedora 23 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2016-12-20. Fedora 23 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates.
