Description of problem:

Cheese app won't detect any device even though the laptop has an integrated webcam. Google chrome and other browsers are able to detect and use the webcam properly. It also used to work in previous versions (Fedora 24 i.e.)

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Cheese app
2. See it doesn't detect any device

Actual results:
The app doesn't recognize webcam hardware

Expected results:
It should recognize the webcam

My computer is an Asus Zenbook UX303lb (Intel core i5 broadwell with nvidia GT 940M card)

I just did a fresh insall and it got solved :)
