The Container-Native Storage solution enables running containerized Red Hat Gluster Storage inside OpenShift providing reliable storage services from containers. The solution provides a unified deployment workflow for both compute and storage services to be deployed using containers enabling system administrators to provision storage inside an OpenShift cluster eliminating the need for an external storage cluster or an appliance. This release includes support for dynamic provisioning of gluster volumes from heketi managed trusted pool. This helps users to request Gluster storage space on demand and use it in their application pod. With this release, the Heketi version is refreshed to version 3-1.0. The new Red Hat Gluster Storage container image is based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.3 and Red Hat Gluster Storage 3.1.3 The new 'cns-deploy' utility is introduced in this release. This tool lets the administrator deploy Container Native Storage in an Openshift environment with a single command.
