Description Brett Niver 2016-11-14 15:52:50 UTC
A method to trim fuse inodes from kernel icache. Inodes in kernel pin inodes in ceps-fuse’s cache, which in turn pin inodes in ceph mds server. When there are too many pinned inodes, ceph-mds asks clients to trim its inode cache. In order to trim an inode, ceps-fuse need to trim corresponding inode from kernel cache. At present, ceps-fuse remounts the filesystem (remount shrinks all unused dentries) when it needs to trim kernel icache.
