This is a bug with more_core_extensions, IMO. We are overwriting the BLANK_RE when we shouldn't. Let's fix it properly over there. Then here on 5.6 we can just bump the version of more_core_extensions. It feels like we are not properly checking for an existing implementation of `blank?` method which can come from activesupport.
