I would be interested in seeing git-extras get added to EPEL 6 and 7. I see there is an epel7 branch in the git-extras repo, but it hasn't been updated since 2013: https://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/cgit/rpms/git-extras.git And git-extras has never been built or submitted for EPEL: https://apps.fedoraproject.org/packages/git-extras/overview/ As per: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Getting_a_Fedora_package_in_EPEL I'd like to ask if the current maintainers (besser82 or segiomb) are interested in adding git-extras to EPEL. If not I might be willing to maintain it for EPEL 6 and 7. Thanks!
Hi, I (sergiomb) requested the branch el6 for git-extras. Admin have the possibility for 7 days to block a branch request for EPEL branches. in another words we may have to wait 7 days to branch be approved , Cheers
we don't have rubygem-ronn in epel 7 neither epel 6 , so I can't build it .

I just found nodejs-ronn (https://apps.fedoraproject.org/packages/nodejs-ronn), a "JavaScript port of ronn" - maybe that would do...

I found one solution, we don't need run any kind of ronn, source already have all documentation generated (with ronn). So we don't need rerun ronn, BTW Fedora's ronn gives a lot of warnings, so maybe upstream document is better, anyway.
(In reply to Sergio Monteiro Basto from comment #8) Yeah I saw you'd done that. Thanks for all your work on this! I should be able to try the EPEL 6 package in the next few days.
