Description of problem: RHEL 7.3 now comes with copy-jdk-configs with the same version number as the package in EPEL. Running "yum update" on a 7.3 system will try to get the EPEL copy-jdk-configs package as a dependency for some other package, even though there is also a RHEL 7.3 equivalent. It is unfortunate that RH people didn't bump the version number when they adopted copy-jdk-configs to RHEL. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): copy-jdk-configs-1.2-1.el7.noarch.rpm How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. "yum update" 2. see copy-jdk-configs getting pulled in as a dependency for java-1.7.0-openjdk-headless Actual results: copy-jdk-configs from EPEL gets installed as a dependency Expected results: copy-jdk-configs from RHEL gets installed as a dependency Additional info: Yes, I know about priorities etc, but this is for the general case.

Sorry for inconvenience. Should be visible in few hours.
Uh oh, copy-jdk-configs is only in RHEL 7, not in RHEL 6 :-/ The EPEL6 version of copy-jdk-configs should remain intact. Sorry, I had initially assigned this bug to EPEL6, but later on fixed that to EPEL7.
