Description John Matthews 2016-11-21 20:15:53 UTC
Add a troubleshooting section to the docs to help a user learn more if a deployment fails.

To start let's include information on what log files to look at when a deployment fails.
 - deployment.log on the Satellite, to see the errors from the fusor/satellite side
 - ansible log files for RHV/OCP
 - openstack log file locations on undercloud

Comment 5 Tasos Papaioannou 2017-01-19 20:58:13 UTC
A few typos:

1.) "If you see an warning icon next to a repository" -> "If you see a warning icon next to a repository"
2.) "you will see this error even if the all repositories are synchronized" -> "you will see this error even if all the repositories are synchronized"
3.) "Use the stackrc file for autentication details" -> "Use the stackrc file for authentication details"
This appears twice.
4.) "In you browser, open http://ip.of.the.controller/dashboard/admin." -> "In your browser, open http://ip.of.the.controller/dashboard/admin."
5.) The following bullet point and fragmentary sentence seem incomplete: "A stack already exists error / If you launch an Red Hat OpenStack Platform deployment and it fails."
6.) "openstack stack delete ovrecloud" -> "openstack stack delete overcloud"
7.) "watch -n 10 openstack stack-list" -> "watch -n 10 openstack stack list"

Comment 7 Tasos Papaioannou 2017-01-20 13:57:04 UTC
The second occurrence of "Use the stackrc file for autentication details" still exists. Everything else looks good.

Comment 8 Tahlia Richardson 2017-01-22 23:40:31 UTC
Can't believe I missed that, thanks for catching it! That's fixed now at the same link.

Comment 9 Tasos Papaioannou 2017-01-24 15:04:22 UTC
Verified.
