Description Peter Ondrejka 2016-11-22 12:50:26 UTC
Description of problem:

Currently, it is possible to edit operating system while it is being used for host provisioning. This can cause errors in host build, e.g. when trying to cancel pending installation (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1247542#c6)

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create an operating system with install media and partition table.
2. Create a new host using the operating system.
3. While the host is building, go to operating system and remove partition table and media from it.

Actual results:

Changes to operating system are accepted. When trying to cancel the host build, an error is appears (as in BZ#)1247542.

Expected results:

Changes to operating system are not accepted if the os is currently used in a host build. A warning message is displayed

Thank you for your interest in Satellite 6. We have evaluated this request, and we do not expect this to be implemented in the product in the forseeable future. We are therefore closing this out as WONTFIX. If you have any concerns about this, please feel free to contact Rich Jerrido or Bryan Kearney. Thank you.
