I see another failure about the memory test results not being found after running the test on the VM as well.

Please update to the latest versions of redhat-certification-backend, redhat-certification, and redhat-certification-hardware, and then try to run the tests again.

If you still have trouble, please try them individually.

Upgraded to cert kit 4.6. That seems to have resolved the issue:

FV Guest started ...
fv_core test is running, it takes some time(less than 90 minutes), please be patient ...
You may use "virsh console hwcert-x86_64" to monitor the testing progress
Guest has shutdown
Using loopback device /dev/loop0 for guest data image
add map loop0p1 (253:0): 0 192717 linear /dev/loop0 63
Mounted /dev/mapper/loop0p1 on /mnt/rhcert-client
rhcert image: host: rhcert--, guest: rhcert-- build: 2014-03-10 12:59:25
cp /mnt/rhcert-client/results.xml /var/log/rhcert/runs/1/hwcert/fvtest/fv_core
