Description of problem:
After selecting USB stick media it is stuck an never gets to write to disk

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
mediawriter-4.0.4-0.fc25.x86_64

Additional info:
The stick had a previous live image it was able to restore, wipe it out. It downloaded the live image file to the Downloads directory. I can select the stick. Thought maybe it was because the stick was mount so I unmounted and reran with the same results.

Hello,
fix for this problem is in mediawriter-4.0.7-0.fc25.x86_64 that will get into stable repositories tomorrow.
If you want to try it today, use dnf --enablerepo=updates-testing update mediawriter.
