Description Udi Kalifon 2016-11-24 13:17:21 UTC
Description of problem:
In a plan that features custom roles, when you assign a node to one of the custom roles you get a blank error message which just says: "Error".

Note: this bug is not related to BZ 1398274, where you can't assign to custom roles at all. This bug assumes that you don't have bug 1398274, or that it's fixed, and then this bug is relevant again.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
openstack-tripleo-ui-1.0.5-1.el7ost.noarch

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Upload a plan with custom roles.
2. Assign a node to one of the custom roles.
3. Wait for the assignment to finish.

Actual results:
When the assignment is made, you get a notification with just the word "Error" in it. It seems like the assignment worked, though. There is nothing in the browser console to give more information.

This is already fixed.
