Description Emmanuel Seyman 2016-11-25 17:05:01 UTC
Description of problem:
When locking the computer with super + L I see it will switch over to the gdm but then the following things happen:

The screen goes black and it becomes unresponsive to any input be it random keyboard pressing and or mouse movement clicking

The monitor will report there is no signal.

Another F25 user asked a question like this one but closed it saying the binary nvidia drivers had solved his problem but I would rather not do that.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
xorg-x11-drv-nouveau-1.0.13-1.fc25.x86_64

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Lock your screen (using Ctrl+L)
2. Wait for screen to go black
3. Press any key or move the mouse

Actual results:
Screen stays black

Expected results:
The screensaver should appear and "pulling" upwards with the mouse should reveal the password prompt.

I've been using xorg-x11-drv-nouveau-1.0.15-2.fc25 for some time and have not seen this issue since so I'm going to close this bug
