Description of problem: The version of the typearea LaTeX package (part of the texlive-koma-script Fedora package) in texlive 2016-17.20160520.fc25 is 3.20. However, 3.20 has a bug which makes the package unusable, as "Missing number, treated as zero." errors are produced unless pagesize=false is added to the document class. This is a known issue which has been fixed in version 3.21 of the typearea LaTeX package. Essentially, the texlive-koma-script package needs to be upgraded to KOMA-Script 3.21, which is the latest version on CTAN, to fix a known bug.
