Description Deepannagaraj Nagarathinam 2016-12-06 15:43:13 UTC
Description of problem:

- When trying to add a matcher value based on the Location (but the location is having a comma e.g., Country, State), Satellite server is chopping the value at the comma.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

- Red Hat Satellite v 6.2.4

How reproducible:

- Always

Steps to Reproduce:

-> Create a Location having comma in it.

-> Try to create a Matcher value for the puppet class with Location.

Actual results:

- The Location is chopped off after the comma when we click on the Submit.

Expected results:

- Full Location should be taken by the Satellite server.

Comment 2 Oleksandr Shtaier 2017-04-24 08:55:27 UTC
Issue is not specific to locations only. We cannot create matcher with comma in general

Comment 6 Bryan Kearney 2018-09-04 18:04:00 UTC
Thank you for your interest in Satellite 6. We have evaluated this request, and we do not expect this to be implemented in the product in the foreseeable future. We are therefore closing this out as WONTFIX. If you have any concerns about this, please feel free to contact Rich Jerrido or Bryan Kearney. Thank you.
