Configuring CTDB on Red Hat Gluster Storage Server Describe the issue: ************************************ Need to add steps or add kbase article link to disable kernel-nfs module so that it doesn't tries to come up when a node is rebooted or gnfs service goes down and CTDB could do failover in case of gnfs service going down. Suggestions for improvement: ************************************** By default CTDB conf has settings for CTDB_MANAGES_SAMBA=yes but if the configuration is needed for NFS then above line has to be removed or commented and CTDB_MANAGES_NFS=yes has to be added in /etc/sysconfig/ctdb For CTDB failover to happen for gnfs service down please follow the kbase article provided here to disable kernel-nfs module. Additional information:
Hi Surabhi, As discussed with you and Soumya, if we already have a kbase article for this particular use case then the users will refer that. Do let me know how to proceed with this issue. Thanks!
As Bhavana mentioned we already have the k-base article for above issue and the fix for ctdb failover working for NFS is not been taken in as part of 3.2.0 , this may not be a good idea to provide these steps in admin guide. K-base article can always be referred. Closing this Bug.
