Description of problem:
When checking for updates via the software update, I'm getting proxy related errors. For example:
Curl error (56): Failure when receiving data from the peer for https://dl.google.com/linux/linux_signing_key.pub [Proxy CONNECT aborted]

The same exact command always succeeds via 'dnf update' and always fails in Gnome Softwrare.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
gnome-software-3.22.3-1.fc25.x86_64
