Description of problem: i915 PSR become enabled by default since 4.5. It works fine until system blanks the (eDP) screen. However once system is back from idle the screen is either only updated on mouse move or not updated at al. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Since 4.5 up to 4.8.12-300.fc25.x86_64 How reproducible: Persistent Steps to Reproduce: 1. Boot Fedora on eligible hardware, e.g. Dell XPS 13 (Broadwell) 2. Login to desktop session. 3. Keep the system idle and wait until the screen is blank 4. Press key/mouse and login again if it is still possible. Actual results: Screen is either not updated until mouse is moved or not updated at all. Expected results: No change in behaviour compared to the one before the screen become blank. Additional info: Happens for both Gnome on X and Gnome on Wayland sessions.
