Description of problem:

Was trying to reproduce/create-a-scenario for this event to be hit. After a couple of failed attempts, and post discussion with Pranith, we concluded that all the filesystems that are presently used in the field have extended attribute support and if not, there are multiple checks in place for this code path to never get traversed. We can do away with this posix related event.
