Description Andrey Ponomarenko 2016-12-12 07:51:47 UTC
Description of problem:

There are several brcmsmac* error messages on startup of Fedora 25/x86_64 on Lenovo G570 20079 notebook with Broadcom BCM4313 WiFi card on board: https://linux-hardware.org/index.php?probe=12e281d249

Dmesg: https://linux-hardware.org/index.php?probe=12e281d249&log=dmesg

Installing of updates (kernel 4.8.12, etc.) doesn't fix the problem.

I've changed WiFi card to Intel Centrino Wireless-N 6150 and now all works fine: https://linux-hardware.org/index.php?probe=0b29192f95

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Fedora 25

How reproducible: always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start system
2. Look at startup logs on the screen
3.

Actual results:
errors on the screen

Expected results:
no errors on the screen

*********** MASS BUG UPDATE **************
We apologize for the inconvenience. There is a large number of bugs to go through and several of them have gone stale. Due to this, we are doing a mass bug update across all of the Fedora 25 kernel bugs.

Fedora 25 has now been rebased to 4.9.3-200.fc25. Please test this kernel update (or newer) and let us know if you issue has been resolved or if it is still present with the newer kernel.

If you have moved on to Fedora 26, and are still experiencing this issue, please change the version to Fedora 26.

If you experience different issues, please open a new bug report for those.
