You may not consider this a bug, in which case feel free to close!

Changing my bugzilla scripts to test against the internal 5.0 beta instance, I had to change the XMLRPC endpoint from:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/xmlrpc.cgi

to:

https://beta.bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/xmlrpc.cgi
                                 ^ note additional bugzilla/ here

It may make it easier for script end users if you make the XMLRPC endpoint on the beta instance available at:

https://beta.bugzilla.redhat.com/xmlrpc.cgi

Hi Jim, because beta is a sub domain of bugzilla.redhat.com you have to have different paths to avoid cookies from the root domain being served to sub domains.

It used to be you could just leave off the leading . on the cookie domain and it all just worked, but browser developers know better and now they all silently discard leading .'s and server root cookies to sub domains :-(
