Description Benjamin Kahn 2016-12-12 20:20:04 UTC
Description of problem:
Attachments can't be opened; get a 404 error instead.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
100% (at least on one bug)

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Load this (old) bug: https://beta.bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=916863
2. Find any of the many attachments. Click on one to open it.

Actual results:
404 error on URL: https://beta-attachments.bugzilla.redhat.com/attachment.cgi?id=704082

Expected results:
Be taken to URL: https://beta-attachments.bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=704082

Additional info:
The second URL is a guess. It's also returning a file not found error, but at least it looks better.

Comment 1 Jeff Fearn 🐞 2016-12-12 22:17:24 UTC
The error here is we forgot to mention in the announcement that due to resource constraints the attachments are not available on the beta server. New attachments work as expected.

I'll chase up Ops and see what room we have to change this.

Comment 2 Jeff Fearn 🐞 2017-01-13 05:41:35 UTC
Ops have let us know that we can't fit the attachments on the test DBs. People are free to upload new ones but there is just too much data to fit. New attachments can be added to the beta site if people need to test things.

What we should do is fix it so the links don't mislead people in to thinking they are actually there.

Comment 3 Jeff Fearn 🐞 2017-01-13 06:00:04 UTC
This needs to be fixed before we go to public beta.

Comment 4 Rony Gong 🔥 2017-01-19 03:03:35 UTC
Tested on QA environment(5.0.3-rh22)
Result: Pass
