Description Kjartan Maraas 2000-07-17 18:11:05 UTC
I can consistently crash it when trying to create a file named ".test"

Start up, C-x C-f .test, boom

The core dump looks like it's no good. Not much information in the
back trace.

In fact it dies when attempting to create a file no matter what name
I choose.

It doesn't happen if I use 'LC_ALL=C emacs-nox'.

Cheers
Kjartan

glibc in beta 3 has some i18n issues - I can't reproduce this on a current
system.

Fixed for me too in beta4
