Description of problem: Trying hald --verbose=yes --daemon=no yield many errors in ide-drives.fdi. Obvious reason is a missing / in <device> line 50, column 2. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): hal-0.4.2-1.FC3 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. run hald --verbose=yes daemon=no 2. check output 3. Actual results: errors exist in log Expected results: no errors should exist Additional info: I am really not sure if this is something serious. I am trying to debug another problem of mine, because it refuses to mount any removable devices (cdrom, usb memory sticks) as a non-root user.
