Description of problem: The remmina telepathy plugin contains an undefined reference to a nonexistant remmina_tp_handler_new. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): remmina-1.2.0-0.23.20160914git42f5a87.fc25.x86_64 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. run remmina 2. check stderr Actual results: The telepathy plugin is not loaded, and the following is printed to stderr: Failed to load plugin: /usr/lib64/remmina/plugins/remmina-plugin-telepathy.so. Error: /usr/lib64/remmina/plugins/remmina-plugin-telepathy.so: undefined symbol: remmina_tp_handler_new Expected results: Either plugin should load, or not be built. Additional info: This issue dates back to at least 1.0.0. As this function does not exist, and without which the plugin does nothing, I suggest disabling the plugin entirely until this is fixed upstream.
FreeRDP had no releases for more than 2 years and there is absolutely no guarantee of any stability towards API/ABI. So the best that it can happen is that in a given moment in time all components relying on FreeRDP work fine. Just by saying that it makes me shiver. Would it be possible for you to make a test with the package that is available for Fedora 26 and see if the issue is fixed there? That's another snapshot for both components (FreeRDP/Remmina). Maybe I can push the same build to Fedora 25 along with the other dependent components. I can build those for you in Koji for Fedora 25 if you can't on your own.
This isn't related to FreeRDP in any way; that's used by Remmina only in the RDP plugin, but I'm discussing the Telepathy plugin. remmina-plugins/telepathy hasn't been touched in 2.5 years[1], so a new snapshot isn't going to change anything.
