Description Luke 2017-04-01 23:27:56 UTC
If still possible, please upgrade pidgin version for F24 to 2.12 from currently available 2.11 for F24.

F24 is still maintained and pidgin 2.12 contains vital upgrade to keep AIM protocol running:
https://pidgin.im/pipermail/announce/2017-March/000019.html

Unfortunately, 2.12 can't be installed with Rawhide due to dependency problems.

I'd like to wait with Fedora upgrade till F26 is available and still be able to use AIM with pidgin. Thanks a lot for help, if that's still possible and OK with Fedora release schedule/rules/guidelines.
