"we would like to request back porting  the collectd functionality available in OSP11 to be available in for us using OSP10."

collectd is available from rhos-10-optools repo already, it's been in tech preview there (although stable); the missing bit is integration in director.

from IRC, the request is to upgrade collectd in osp-10 to the same version as in osp-11:

<jbiao> mrunge, customer say there're new feature in collectd in OSP 11 and they wants to have these new features in OSP 10


Please specify what functionality is requested, not all features in collectd 5.7 are enabled in osp-10
