Filed from caserun https://tcms.engineering.redhat.com/run/311469/#caserun_15765046

looks like there has been some change in identifing users ...

Actual results:
:: [   PASS   ] :: Command 'echo "CREATE USER 'testuser6da6'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'abcdef123';" | mysql -u root information_schema' (Expected 0, got 0)
:: [  BEGIN   ] :: Running 'echo "CREATE TABLE moje (id INT, t TEXT) ENGINE=MyISAM;" | mysql -u testuser6da6 -pabcdef123 testdb10d1'
mysql: [Warning] Using a password on the command line interface can be insecure.
ERROR 1044 (42000): Access denied for user 'testuser6da6'@'localhost' to database 'testdb10d1'
:: [   PASS   ] :: Command 'echo "CREATE TABLE moje (id INT, t TEXT) ENGINE=MyISAM;" | mysql -u testuser6da6 -pabcdef123 testdb10d1' (Expected 1, got 1)
:: [  BEGIN   ] :: Running 'echo "GRANT CREATE on testdb10d1.moje TO testuser6da6;" | mysql -u root information_schema'
ERROR 1133 (42000) at line 1: Can't find any matching row in the user table
:: [   FAIL   ] :: Command 'echo "GRANT CREATE on testdb10d1.moje TO testuser6da6;" | mysql -u root information_schema' (Expected 0, got 1)

this has been passing in the past, e.g. here:

https://tcms.engineering.redhat.com/run/293506/#caserun_13710319

I don't see any relevant config change documented, so I guess this is a bug, as any behaviour change
