Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 1460487
NFS-ganesha: Enabling/disabling NFSv4 ACLs requires re-mount of the share
Last modified: 2017-09-21 00:24:47 EDT
Section Number and Name:
126.96.36.199. Manually Configuring NFS-Ganesha Exports
Enabling and Disabling NFSv4 ACLs
Describe the issue:
Enabling or Disabling NFSv4 ACLs would require re-mount of the export on the client machines, for the configuration change to be effective.
For more information see bug1450083
Suggestions for improvement:
Add a note that NFS clients should remount their share after enabling/disabling ACLs on the NFS-Ganesha server.
A note is added to ensure enabling or disabling NFSv4 ACLs would require re-mount of the export on the client machines, for the configuration change to be effective.
Changes looks good to me.Moving this bug to verified state.
