Description Mark J. Cox (Product Security) 2005-01-26 07:35:59 EST
We're currently working on a number of RHEL4 advisories ready for
Feb15th; using channel names similar to RHEL3 fails when pushing to RHNQA:

"Invalid channel name rhel-i386-desktop-4"

A complete list of required channel names can be worked out by copying
RHEL3, or from the lists at

http://porkchop.redhat.com/errata/editversions.cgi?product=Red%20Hat%20Enterprise%20Linux&version=4AS&action=edit

(then replacing 4AS with ES, WS, Desktop)
Comment 1 Chris MacLeod 2005-01-26 11:14:29 EST
Assigning to mattwebb since he owns the channel data for rhel products.

I think desktop is rh-i386-desktop-4 rather than rhel-... even though
rhel3 was rhel-...

Here's the list of the RHEL 4 channel labels:

rhel-i386-as-4
rhel-i386-es-4
rhel-i386-ws-4
rh-i386-desktop-4

rhel-x86_64-as-4
rhel-x86_64-es-4
rhel-x86_64-ws-4
rh-x86_64-desktop-4

rhel-ia64-as-4
rhel-ia64-es-4
rhel-ia64-ws-4

rhel-ppc-as-4

rhel-s390-as-4

rhel-s390x-as-4

Thanks, we'll fix this in the errata tool.
