Description Marek Haicman 2017-06-23 19:31:00 EDT
Description of problem:
When scanning remote system, scap-workbench uses ssh-askpass to get password query. It is hardcoded to :0 display though, so in case we are connected via VNC to :1, it fails.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
scap-workbench-1.1.4-5.el7

How reproducible:
reliably

Steps to Reproduce:
1. connect to the machine with VNC
2. (for preparation, you might use https://github.com/matusmarhefka/vnc_server_setup)
3. try to do remote scan (localhost is enough)

Actual results:
failure:
Can't connect to remote machine! Exception was: There was a problem with SshConnection! Failed to create SSH master socket! Diagnostic info: Starting process '/usr/bin/setsid /usr/bin/ssh -M -f -N -o ServerAliveInterval=60 -o ControlPath=/tmp/3Abasy/ssh_socket -p 22 test@localhost' Starting process '/usr/bin/setsid /usr/bin/ssh -M -f -N -o ServerAliveInterval=60 -o ControlPath=/tmp/3Abasy/ssh_socket -p 22 test@localhost' stdout: =============================== stderr: =============================== (ssh-askpass:15099): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: :0 Permission denied, please try again. (ssh-askpass:15100): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: :0 Permission denied, please try again. (ssh-askpass:15101): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: :0 Permission denied (publickey,gssapi-keyex,gssapi-with-mic,password).

Expected results:
User is asked for password, and then successful scan is performed.
