Description of problem:
I have xorg-x11-xauth package installed with following version on Fedora 26:
xorg-x11-xauth-1.0.9-5.fc24.x86_64

I would expect to have this package compiled against Fedora 26
e.g.
xorg-x11-xauth-1.0.9-5.fc26.x86_64

No, this is not always the case, e.g. if you look at the files of the F25 release (e.g. at http://ftp-stud.fht-esslingen.de/Mirrors/fedora.redhat.com/linux/releases/25/Everything/x86_64/os/Packages/x/ ):

Most are agains the current fedora but some are still from the previous version (or even older).
