Description Will Gordon 2017-06-27 19:31:58 UTC
- What is the nature and description of the request?
As an OpenShift Dedicated customer
I'd like to configure my own logging solution
So that I can reuse some of my compliance efforts and tooling around logging.

- Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)
Primarily for allowing customer to maintain their own logs and retention.

- How would the customer like to achieve this? (List the functional requirements here)
OCP already supports configuring an external fluentd end point.
Updating onboarding and self-service tool to collect end point
Monitoring of their endpoint and updating customer when we can't reach it.

- Is there already an existing RFE upstream or in Red Hat Bugzilla?
Not that I could find

- List any affected packages or components.
OpenShift

Closing this older bug. The ability to forward logs to an external system has been enabled in OpenShift Dedicated 4.
