Description Steve Traylen 2017-07-14 06:45:01 EDT
Description of problem:

collectd rpm contains the file

%{_datadir}/collectd/types.db

but the directory %{_datadir}/collectd is now owned by any package. It should
probably be owned by collectd package itself.

rpm -qf /usr/share/collectd /usr/share/collectd/types.db
file /usr/share/collectd is not owned by any package
collectd-5.7.2-1.fc25.x86_64

looks to be true of rawhide also.

Thanks for your report Steve. As a matter of fact I found another one, we also don't own /usr/include/collectd/

Both are fixed in collectd-5.7.2-8.fc27.
