Description of problem: Cannot update perl because of polymake Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): $ rpm -q polymake polymake-3.0r2-4.fc25.x86_64 How reproducible: Everytime Steps to Reproduce: 1. run "dnf update --best" Actual results: Last metadata expiration check: 1:11:31 ago on Wed Jul 26 10:13:20 2017. Error: package polymake-3.0r2-4.fc25.x86_64 requires perl = 4:5.24.1, but none of the providers can be installed. package perl-4:5.24.1-386.fc25.x86_64 requires perl-libs(x86-64) = 4:5.24.1-386.fc25, but none of the providers can be installed. package perl-4:5.24.1-386.fc25.x86_64 requires perl-libs(x86-64) = 4:5.24.1-386.fc25, but none of the providers can be installed. package perl-4:5.24.1-386.fc25.x86_64 requires perl-libs(x86-64) = 4:5.24.1-386.fc25, but none of the providers can be installed (try to add '--allowerasing' to command line to replace conflicting packages) Expected results: Polymake should provides update package for new perl package. Thank you for your prompt response. I updated polymake package from testing repository today. Everything works fine for me.
