Description Eric Harney 2017-08-03 15:31:57 UTC
Customer is seeing a failure to attach an iSCSI volume, this error appears in the Nova compute log:

VolumeDeviceNotFound: Volume device not found at [u'/dev/disk/by-path/ip-10.1.14.5:3260-iscsi-iqn.1992-08.com.netapp:sn.352027083a2b11e5acfb00a098855909:vs.6-lun-2']

Which also produces the message:

ERROR nova.volume.encryptors [req-8dda82df-bda6-49fc-aab6-d98aee8d33fe 96e9d2b749ea48fcb5a911e6f0e144f2 5a50e9d0d19746158958be0c759793fb - - -] Error instantiating nova.volume.encryptors.luks.LuksEncryptor: Volume encryption is not supported for iscsi volume db31d812-994b-4db3-a48d-b4b11263fd8b
