Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 14835
change in /etc/fstab renders GUI floppy format tool useless
Last modified: 2013-04-02 00:14:22 EDT
while a welcome change to CLI users, that the default filesystem type
for /dev/fd0 is "auto," this change has rendered the Gnome GUI Disk
Utility less stable. When selecting "Format" for the floppy device, a
widgit appears announcing that "mkfs.auto" is not supported! This is a
issue, but not unimportant to the clueless GUI user. Gnome rocks!
prolly a gfloppy bug.
Seems fixed in rawhide
