The current X configuration tools do not have entries for the Hitachi CM753 monitor (capable of 1600x1200 @ 85Hz). I am currently running as a generic
(custom) monitor capable of 1600x1200 @ 75Hz, but would like to bump up my refresh rate since the monitor is capable of it.
The Xconfigurator in the 7.0 pinstripe beta will let you enter your own sync
ranges and also has DDC probing. If you want me to add a specific monitor entry,
I need you to send me the mnonitor specifications.
