This bug is on all fedora core versions. I need to close the graphical sesion or reboot the machine in order to umount the floppy or cdrom. Removable media does not need to behave like a hard drive. Fedora Core 3 is now maintained by the Fedora Legacy project for security updates only. If this problem is a security issue, please reopen and reassign to the Fedora Legacy product.
