Description of problem:
I have a serial mouse on my system.  Anaconda is ignoring it.

I had the same problem with RHEL4.  I was able to hand configure X to use the serial mouse once everything was installed.

We don't support serial mice in the installer any more - it's been like that for
some time IIRC

system-config-mouse may be able to add it to the running system
