Description of problem: Grub2 does not recognize an ext4 filesystem that has the "inline_data" flag set. So it does not read its config and goes in rescue mode. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): grub2-pc-2.02-19 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set the 'inline_data' filesystem feature on the ext4 filesystem where grub2 is to read its config file. 2. Reboot Actual results: Grub goes into rescue mode Expected results: Normal boot. Additional info: grub2.cfg is always 'big', so it won't really be inline. In other words, I think it's safe to ignore the 'inline_data' flag for grub2. Nothing wrong with keeping it 'unsupported', but in 99.99% of the cases, it would simply work by ignoring this flag (I guess).
