Description Christian Stadelmann 2018-01-13 23:55:43 UTC
Since the original bug is still present (but nobody cared to update the version number), I'm cloning that bug and cleaning up a bit.

+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1120874 +++

Description of problem:
ABRT currently has two different dialogs for configuration: Preferences and Configuration. I know that under the hood these control two different systems are implemented differently, but it's confusing that these are presented separately. These dialogs should be somehow merged together.

Version-Release number of selected component:
gnome-abrt-0.3.7

Additional info:
reporter: libreport-2.2.2
kernel: 3.15.4-200.fc20.x86_64
type: libreport

--- Additional comment from Christian Stadelmann on 2016-07-20 07:56:14 EDT ---

Still present on F24. Please reopen.

These dialogs probably need some rework, they are barely usable.

Comment 1 Ben Cotton 2019-02-19 17:11:21 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 30 development cycle.
Changing version to '30.

Comment 2 Ben Cotton 2020-04-30 20:17:58 UTC
This message is a reminder that Fedora 30 is nearing its end of life.
Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 30 on 2020-05-26.
It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer
maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a
Fedora 'version' of '30'.

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you
plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version'
to a later Fedora version.

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we were not
able to fix it before Fedora 30 is end of life. If you would still like
to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version
of Fedora, you are encouraged change the 'version' to a later Fedora
version prior this bug is closed as described in the policy above.

Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's
lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a
more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes
bugs or makes them obsolete.

Comment 3 Ben Cotton 2020-08-11 13:04:28 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 33 development cycle.
Changing version to 33.
